Day-to-day delivery of spare parts in the UK: SKAKO Concrete expands with new UK warehouse and office facilities

Since Brexit, purchasing something from EU countries and getting it delivered to the UK has become more complicated. This is a problem if you are in urgent need of a spare part for your concrete production machinery that is not available within the country.
But not anymore – at least not for SKAKO Concrete customers.
To give UK concrete factories better access to original SKAKO Concrete spare parts, SKAKO Concrete has decided to expand with warehouse and office facilities in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
“The expansion will enable us to help UK customers reduce their breakdown time with next day – or, in some instances, even same-day delivery of key spare parts for their SKAKO Concrete equipment,” says Gareth Hulcup, our Sales Manager based in the UK.
We expect to be able to deliver spare parts from our new warehouse from March 2025.
Why choose original spare parts?
You can purchase spare parts for your SKAKO Concrete equipment through our webshop. If you need guidance before ordering, we have a team of spare part experts ready to receive your call or email.
When you purchase your spare parts directly from SKAKO Concrete, you maintain the warranty on your equipment while, at the same time, you can be sure that the spare part fits perfectly.
As a bonus, SKAKO Concrete’s spare parts will become cheaper for factories in the UK as soon as we open up our new premises in Cirencester, because shipping cost from Denmark is substantially reduced – what’s not to like?
Loads of potential in the UK concrete industry
Many British concrete factories are experiencing a positive development at the moment. There are about 1.400 concrete plants in the UK, and SKAKO Concrete installed three new big plants in the UK last year.
Taking this into consideration, the UK is a great place for SKAKO Concrete to expand.
Increased equipment performance and reduced downtime with a service contract
“We hope that the expansion will get us involved in the maintenance of more concrete plants after handing them over to the customer. Being locally present – not only as we have been up until now with sales and onsite electrical and mechanical support, but also with warehousing of spare parts – will hopefully make our service and maintenance packages more attractive for UK customers,” says Gareth Hulcup and continues:
“A service contract from SKAKO Concrete provides savings on technical support. At the same time, equipment performance is often increased and downtime reduced due to regular and correct maintenance.
Having a service contract also means that any employee can contact SKAKO Concrete as soon as they face a problem. They don’t have to spend valuable time trying to solve the problem themselves, searching for a qualified technician, or sourcing the correct parts to fix the issue. They can just call our experts and have the problem fixed as soon as possible. Seen in the bigger picture, this is the most profitable solution for many companies”, he finishes.
