Decription
A screening & crushing system consists of a vibratory bell, a vibratory screener, and a material crusher.
The vibratory bell is placed inside the reclaimed material silo and creates vibrations, preventing bridge building. If necessary, more than one vibratory bell can be installed.
The vibratory screener replaces your normal proportioning unit and receives the reclaimed material from the silo. At the bottom of the screener, a grate ensures that only material fragments of a certain size can pass through (normally 18-20 mm – but we can also deliver grates for other fragment sizes). The material that passes through the screener grate is dropped into the scale underneath.
The remaining material lumps on top of the screener ends up in the crusher located at the front end of the screener. Here, the lumps are crushed into smaller fragments, no bigger than the screening grate size, before they are dropped into the same scale underneath.
Specifications
More information about the screening & crushing system from SKAKO Concrete:
- The screening & crushing system can be made to segregate reclaimed aggregates or crushed concrete.
- The system eases the operator’s work, as everything is handled automatically.
- No material fragments larger than 18-20 mm get into the concrete mixer. Other fragment sizes can be chosen as well.
